ForgeBlox vs Lemonade.gg
Lemonade is the best-known AI game maker for Roblox: you type a prompt in the browser and get a playable game you can export to Roblox Studio. ForgeBlox is different in kind. It is an agent that works inside the Studio place you already have, through Roblox's own MCP server, and it tests what it builds. Here is where each one wins, with the things reviewers complain about included.
The short version
| Lemonade.gg | ForgeBlox | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | Browser chat agent that generates a Roblox game; export to Studio, plus a Studio plugin | Agent that builds inside your open Roblox Studio place on Windows |
| Starting point | Nothing. Good for "I have an idea and no project" | Your existing place, or a new baseplate |
| Proof of work | Browser preview | Runs a playtest in Studio, reads the console, sends a screenshot |
| Sign-in | Account on lemonade.gg; several public reviews describe entering Roblox account details | Roblox OAuth only. No password, ever |
| Pricing | Not published on the public site (seen after sign-in) | Packs from $10, 1 credit = 1¢, price shown before each message, credits never expire |
| Platforms | Any browser (Mac, Chromebook, phone) | Windows PC with Roblox Studio |
| Community | Large Discord (over 100K members in 2026) | Small, with a support Discord |
| Monetization wiring | Depends on the generated template | Game passes and developer products through ProcessReceipt, validated on the server |
Where Lemonade is better
- Zero setup. No download, no Studio, works on a Mac or a school Chromebook. If you have never opened Studio, Lemonade gets you to "something playable" faster than anything that needs a Windows PC.
- Starting from nothing. Its templates give you a whole game skeleton in one prompt.
- Community. There are far more Lemonade videos, Discord members and tutorials to copy from.
Where ForgeBlox is better
- It works on your real project. You do not export and re-import. The agent reads the scripts and objects already in your place and edits them in Studio, the same way a hired scripter would.
- It proves its work. After a build step it playtests, reads the Studio console, and sends you a viewport screenshot before it says it is done. The most common complaint in Lemonade reviews is edits that go wrong silently; a playtest loop is the fix for that.
- No password. Roblox OAuth sign-in shares your user id, username, display name, avatar and account age. ForgeBlox cannot log into your account, trade, or spend Robux. Several public Lemonade reviews mention having to enter Roblox account details; we think no third-party tool should ask for that.
- You see the price first. Every message shows its cost before you send it, packs never renew, and credits never expire. Reviewers call Lemonade expensive for the quality; we cannot judge that because the pricing is not public, which is itself the point.
- Server-validated monetization. Game passes and developer products are wired through ProcessReceipt with idempotent grants, so exploiters cannot give themselves free items. Our tycoon guide shows the exact prompts.
Same prompt, both tools
Try it yourself: give each tool the first message from our tycoon guide and look at three things. Does the cash counter go up during a real playtest? Is the economy logic on the server (open the script and check for a LocalScript doing the math)? Did you have to type a Roblox password anywhere? That is a better test than any comparison table, including this one.
Build a tycoon plot in Workspace/Tycoon: a 60x60 base, a Dropper that spawns a
part every 2 seconds, a Conveyor that carries parts to a Collector, and a Cash
leaderstat that increases when parts reach the collector. Server-side only.
Playtest for 8 seconds, read the console, screenshot, and stop the test.
Switching from Lemonade
If you exported a Lemonade game to Studio, open that place, pair the ForgeBlox Bridge, and ask ForgeBlox to "review this place, list every script, and tell me which economy logic runs on the client." That audit usually costs under 100 credits and tells you what to fix before you publish. Then continue building in the same place; nothing needs re-exporting.
Questions
Is ForgeBlox a Lemonade alternative?
Yes, if you already use Roblox Studio on Windows. If you want to build on a phone or a Mac, it is not, yet.
Can I use both?
Yes. Some users generate a starting map in a browser tool and then use ForgeBlox inside Studio for systems, UI, saving and monetization.
Does ForgeBlox copy Lemonade games?
No. ForgeBlox writes new Luau for your place from your prompts, using patterns from Roblox's own documentation.
