Your kid wants to build a Roblox game with AI. Here is what ForgeBlox is.
ForgeBlox is an AI assistant that works inside Roblox Studio, the free game-making program from Roblox, on a Windows PC. Your teen describes a game in plain English; the AI writes the code, builds the map and menus, tests it, and shows a screenshot of the result. This page answers the questions parents email us most.
Who can use it, who can pay
- 13 or older to use ForgeBlox. Teens 13–17 use it with your permission, and you agree to the Terms on their behalf.
- 18 or older to buy credits. Under-18s cannot check out themselves.
- Not for under-13s. If we learn a user is under 13 we close the account, delete the data and refund unused credits.
How paying works without handing over your card
- Your teen opens the buy dialog in ForgeBlox and clicks Send to a parent.
- They send you the link (text, email, however they like). It is valid for 24 hours.
- You open it on your own phone or computer, see their Roblox display name and the pack, and pay through Stripe. Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna and Cash App Pay all work.
- The credits appear on their account. You never log into their account and they never see your card.
Packs are $10, $25, $60 and $150. They are one-time purchases. See pricing for what a typical build costs; most teens are well served by the $10 or $25 pack.
Will it keep charging me?
Not unless an adult chooses it. Credit packs never renew, and nothing is charged automatically. The Terms only allow purchases by someone 18 or older, or by a parent or guardian through the parent link. The one recurring option is an optional monthly membership (Builder at $19 or Pro at $49 a month, for frequent builders; it adds monthly credits and finished menu, shop and HUD screens) that must be started deliberately; it can be cancelled online at any time, it ends at the close of the paid period, and the Terms guarantee that credits already granted stay on the account. If your teen asks for a membership, you start it on your own card through the same parent link flow, or buy packs instead; most teens are well served by packs.
Can my kid run up a bill?
Not beyond what has been bought. Credits are prepaid, so the balance is the hard limit. On top of that, every message shows its price before it runs, and per-message and daily caps pause the agent at a safe point. Unused reservations go back to the balance.
Passwords and account safety
ForgeBlox never asks for a Roblox password. Signing in uses Roblox's own login page (OAuth), the same way "Sign in with Google" works. ForgeBlox receives the Roblox user id, username, display name, avatar and account age, and nothing else. We cannot log into the account, trade items, or spend Robux. We recommend your teen has two-step verification on their Roblox account regardless of which tools they use.
What the AI can see
The AI works inside the Roblox Studio place that is open on the PC, through a feature Roblox builds into Studio (the MCP server). It reads the scripts and objects it needs to edit, the Studio console, and screenshots of the game it is testing. That content goes to our AI provider to do the work. The game file stays on your PC. ForgeBlox does not read other files, browser history, chats, or anything outside Studio.
The desktop app
ForgeBlox needs a small Windows program called the Bridge, which connects Studio to our service. It is code-signed (Windows shows a verified publisher), updates itself, and does nothing while Studio is closed. If Windows shows a blue SmartScreen warning the first time, that is normal for new publishers; the download page explains it.
What your teen actually learns
ForgeBlox writes real Luau code (the language Roblox uses) and explains what it changed, so curious kids can read the scripts and ask it why. We tell every user to review what the AI built before publishing, the same way they would review a human developer's work. Many of our users are teens building their first tycoon or obby; the guides show what that looks like step by step.
Refunds and support
Credits are generally non-refundable because they are prepaid, but email support@forgeblox.app and a human reviews every request; where we grant a refund it covers unused credits. For anything about a child's account or privacy, email privacy@forgeblox.app. Full details are in the Terms and Privacy Policy.
Questions
Is ForgeBlox made by Roblox?
No. It is made by Maddock Studios, a small US studio, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation. It uses Roblox's official developer features (OAuth sign-in and the Studio MCP server).
Does it work on a Mac, Chromebook or phone?
Not yet. Roblox Studio and the Bridge run on Windows. Mac support is planned.
Can my teen publish the game and earn Robux?
Yes, publishing happens through their own Roblox account like any Studio project. ForgeBlox can set up game passes and shop items; the teen creates them on Roblox's website and Roblox handles the payouts under its own rules.
How do I cancel or delete the account?
Email support@forgeblox.app from the parent's address with the Roblox username. A pack-only account has nothing recurring to cancel. A membership is cancelled from the account page through the Stripe customer portal at any time.
